B450 motherboards are not considered to be completely future-proof due to their lack of support for upcoming technologies such as PCIe 4.0 and future Ryzen processors. While they are compatible with current Ryzen processors and offer good performance for gaming and general use, they may not be able to fully support the advancements in hardware that will be introduced in the future. Therefore, if you are looking for a motherboard that will be compatible with the latest technologies for years to come, you may want to consider a more recent chipset such as B550 or X570. **
